One of the more catchier Bangles tunes in my opinion. I remember hearing this song on vacation in Corpus Christy Texas when we kept missing our exit, we missed it like 3 times and I remember that song was playing on the radio.
OHOH wish it was sunday, that's my fun day whoa whoao I don't have to ??? day..

Even to this day, I still find it hard to believe that Prince wrote that song, even if he did it under a different name!
But I loved the song! Posted by Anna Sullivan (Member # 4010) on 29 May, 2005 16:43:
I LOVE this song. I remember sitting there with a tape player, stopping and starting over and over again until I knew every word of it. I did the same for "Walk Like an Egyptian". This song always puts a smile on my face (even if it is a Monday). Love it! Go the Bangles!

This song was the start of my love affair with the Bangles. Manic Monday is still one of my happy songs - one I always play when I need a pick me up.
I think why I love the Bangles so much is that their songs are so "singable". The tunes are very catchy and the lyrics are very clear

I think that Susanna Hoffs was so cute and petite. She is married to Jay Roach who did Meet the Parents and the Austin Powers Movies! She had bit parts in the Austin flicks as a band memeber.

Devoltion here,
Oh, the sixth grade, good times. I listen to Manic Monday and I don't like Monday's every Monday. Call it a ritual.
