As soon as I posted this topic, I realised the bad grammar I had let slip through. As a well known Grammar Nazi, I couldn't stand by any longer without doing something.

So, I've re-posted my post, just as it was. I just hope everyone can speak proper English, like what I does.

I really really really love the Eurythmics, I think they are the best. But, I totally HATE (!) "Sisters are doing it for themselves".

I think it has a weak tune, poor lyrics and is probably the only time Dave and Annie blatantly bowed to commercialism, IMO.

Has this happened to anyone else?

"Mother" by The Police, and sung by guitarist Andy Summers. It appears on their Synchronicity album. Try listening to that song, and you'll have this grimacing look on your face in no time at all! [Eek!]
