Okay this would be the Whitney Houston song that was used for the summer Olympics in 1988. This song really does give the true inspiration to the athletes of the time. "Give me one moment in time....make it shine......" Probablly one of Whitney's most forgotten songs in my opinion. It kind of takes us back to a time that it seemed like the only time that we got patriotic in our country was when there were events like the Olympics. Now I feel that we just "are" patriotic all of the time. Probablly not one of my favorite songs of hers but I did hear it today and thought "this needs to be on the song of the day".
Do any of you have any particular feelings about this song? :)

She put a lot of emotion in this one, probably the greatest olympic song along with ELP's fanfare for the common man. Whitney was unstoppable during this period.

Wow this topic is over three years old? Thanks for reviving it Riptide around the time of the Olympics. Anyone care to dish about it now?
