I am hearing loads about a remake of the karate kid with an all new cast,why could thay not have started again and had Daniel in the role of teacher ???,im sure that would have been more of a draw for all age groups

The news about Will Smith directing a Karate Kid remake is disgusting. So many people love the original movie, and none of them want to see this remake. So many fans woud love to see a sequel, and hate to see a remake.... What is Hollywood thinking?
I mean, look at Rocky Balboa. Wasn’t that a great sequel? But can you imagine how bad it would have been if the tried to remake the original Rocky instead?
