WTF is THAT all about??!!! Oh I do hope Bill hasnt put his name to anything as trashy as this!! ugh!! Sadly, it looks as though you are right - it sure is him on that trailor! Watch this space i guess...

Relax, this is a fake trailer guys. I've talked to the band. They're called No More Kings and you can hear their song "sweep the leg" on myspace or their site.
The good news is, they reunited all but one(Dutch) of the cobra kai for appearances in this music video. Billy Zabka also directed the video. I personally, can't wait for the vid.

Check out an older Tommy screaming into the camera "body bay" style towards the end. LOL

Well if its all in good fun then thats cool!! shessh my hair nearly turned grey though man!! I thought WTF???!! Dont destroy Johnnys memory!! I'll look out for Tommy on this music vid too - must have missed ot the first time.

Also, I was thinking - this may be mini film music vid - ya know, like MJ's 'Thriller' or something.
As long as its all done 'tongue in cheek', thats cool. I'd hate to think of Johnnys character being like that really. I mean he was 'redeemed' at the end ok KK, right?
I must say though...I FELT something seeing Zabka in his gear again - however, this is a PG board so i cant tell you exactly WHAT I felt of course....hmmm
It will be cool to see them all but one reunited again too...i'm off to check outthe song on thier myspace now...if I can find it...

Holy Crap..I haven't posted here in forever, but this brought me out of retirement! This is the coolest, most amazing thing that has been related to KK that has come out since the movies themselves. Cant wait for the whole video....AWESOME!

ha ha, ditto (Claude) - this brought me out of retirement too! I loved that video.. seeing Kreese again and Johnny in his Cobra Kai gi. Lmao.. they really went to town with the props too.. everything looks authentic, from the tournament floor to the score board
great post
Merry Christmas everyone!

WOW! They got all the CK's back together (save for McQueen)?! Impressive. You'd think that the rest of the guys (Thomas, Garrison, O'Dell, Kove) would have gotten snobby and refuted their infamous black gis... it's refreshing to know they stayed cool. As for our resident peroxided bada$$ Dutch, McQueen is currently producing his daddy's not-so-mythical screenplay Yucatan (working title). But I hear that the H'wood studio that's willing to front the cash is being bitchy. THAT and the racing accident that nearly killed him last summer could have kept him from us loyal CK fanatics. My friend has DSL and I'll check out the vid at her place. How does our Billy look? He was such a delicious little cutie in his suit at the oscars!

lol, the "pizza delivery guy" in the video is wearing the same outfit that Daniel wore when he met Ali at Encino Oaks - before he gets covered in spaghetti, lol
looks like the trailer is tweaked now. You can see that lifesize cutout of Kreese behind Zabka in his trailer.. and it says the full video is coming in February

I wonder if itīs a coincidence or the band are obsessed with the big 80īs movies, but the Singerīs name is mentioned like Pete Mitchell, curiosly the real name of Maverick in Top Gun

I, too, have been lured from my retirement by this nugget of goodness. Great news, folks - the whole video is now viewable at http://www.sweeptheleg.com, and it's better than we ever dreamed. Check out who shows up at the end.
Classic. This band has just cemented themselves number one status in the implausibly small, yet fantastically loyal Karate Kid-fan demographic.
Get 'im a bodybag. YEAAAAH!!!!

Hahahah, absolutely AWESOME.
I loved it... *watches again*
Lmao @ Tommy.. hahahahah.
Simply an amazing video and a MUST SEE for ALL Karate Kid fans!

I can't get enough of this video. It shows Billy Zabka's creative talents as well as a whole new level of maturity. The fine art of self-depreciation is honed after so many years and so many B-movies.
But it also teaches us a powerful lesson: get over yourself. Johnny Lawrence despite his attitude, is a human being after all and humans have flaws. But nonetheless he should be proud of himself for getting some balance in his life. The flying sidekick out of his trailer clearly stated he'd had enough, and 23 years after the fact, he finally won his trophy.
But he has yet to learn that what goes around, comes around. Don't daydream while on rollerblades, Johnny. You just might get run over by your former rival in familiar red Avanti. But congratulations all the same.
Oh yeah, and the bitch (so wonderfully portrayed by Liza Snyder) so had to go. I mean who'd want a worm pizza delivery boy, anyway (to Pete's credit he is a good singer). I mean HELLO! Twirl kicks! Jump kick! Biceps! HELLO! ...And I could forgive that he's a bit on the chunky side, after all being half Italian I appreciate a man with a healthy appetite... and it doesn't always pertain to food.

And some more great news! Two interviews on popload.com and belowthebelt.com with Billy on his success with STL has inspired him to (possibly) produce another spin-off music video or AN ENTIRE FEATURE FILM!!! I just finished DLing the interviews and if anyone wants them just leave a response. But to add to that the popload interview is about 1 hour long and out of that Billy's talking for a good half hour. The belowthebelt program you might get a bit frustrated, it's nearly 2 HOURS long and Billy's only on for 20 minutes- AT THE END!!!
