For Johnny I'd say Matt Barr, simply because they look similar:

I would like Jeramy Sumpter as Daniel - he has those boyish good looks and innocence..

I would also LOVE to see Hayden Christensen as Kreese - but he is a little young, I guess. He played a bad boy soooo well and is very athletic too.
Here he is....looking like a young Kreese, I think..
(incidently - he's the one with the fag in his mouth)
and here is one of him giving an 'evil' look - oh I think he would do Kreese very well

Mortia cannot be replaced..EVER...but someone could at least have a go! It would be a tribute to the character he brought to life if someone could pull it off.
What about Jackie Chan? He is charasmatic and skilled enough (in acting and in martial arts)
They could always make him look older too

Pat Morita is impossible to replace. Jackie Chan would be a good idea because he is very different.

I am with you guys here.
Not only can nobody match Morita, I feel it is impossible for anyone to replace Macchio. Something about Macchio and Morita that is very special.
They can never be matched in my view, just like no matter how good Routh is in Superman Returns, he will never touch the magic brought by Christopher Reeve.
