Karate Kid, Part 4 is better known by its release title, The Next Karate Kid. HE ODDLY LISTS THE NAME THEY GIVE MIYAGI IN THE CARTOON."MIYAGI YAKUGA", WHEN IN THE FILM HE'S REVIEWING, THEY CLEARLY CALL HIM "SGT. KESUKE MIYAGI" BTW, I NEVER KNEW KK3 WAS SO "APPALLING" COMPARED TO NEXT KK.

Newly arrived in California from New Jersey, teenager Ralph Macchio almost immediately runs afoul of karate-trained high school bullies. He is rescued by Japanese janitor Noriyuki "Pat" Morita, who agrees to teach Macchio how to harness karate for good instead of brutality. The film culminates in a championship karate bout, pitting Macchio against his sworn enemy Martin Kove.
