I thought it was 2 points to win a match in the All Valley Championship apart from semi and final. But when you see Daniel fighting Tommy and Dutch they get the first point but when Daniel gets a point it should be 1-1 but the ref says winner to Daniel how come?

After watching again to see if i was wrong, and listening to Ali tell Daniel about the point score situation still doesn't make sense. Maybe they done it to fit everything in the tournament scenes or something like that.

I definitely agree with you that his match with Dutch was a mistake because they should've each had two points...but they may not have shown the entire match against Tommy. But, either way, I think they still made a mistake with the point system in Daniel and Dutch's match.

I'm pretty sure it was an illegal punch...I guess you're not allowed to elbow someone in the back of the head.

so you're not allowed to punch to the face, but you can kick to the face...hmm..sounds a lil odd, and when daniel did the leg sissor takedown he hit johhny in the back of the head?..now why would that be legal and not a punch strait on?..i would never fight in an event with crumy rules like that

A couple of things in the movie did not make sense.
Like when Daniel Told Ali that Mr. Miyagi fixed bikes before Miyagi actually fixed his bike. weird.
Or when his mom's piece of crap car was supposed to be automatic but then it all of a sudden becomes stick shift when it breaks down in front of Ali's house.
And another was when Johnny Elbowed Daniel in the ribs for a point in their match and the refs says "kick to the side."
Some clear screw ups. Still a great movie though that was never given a chance to succeed!
