There is a bet going around my circle of friends on the topic of the karate kid at the moment. There is a dispute about the kick near the end of the first karate kid, when he is in the tournament and he injures his leg. (the picture of the kick in question is on the home page of http://www.fast-rewind.com/kkid/)
When Daniel Son executes his one legged kick, does he land on the same leg that he kicked with? ie. does he raise his injured leg, jump with his good leg, kick with his good leg and land back on his good leg again?
I have $50 riding on this at the moment, so i am anticipating the reply to this message.

he stands on his good leg with his injured leg up. he kicks with is good leg and for a split second has his bad legs' toes on the floor then lands back with his good leg on the floor. does that make n e sense? good luck. *_*

to kick with the same leg you land on, you have to jump really high..as karate babe pointed out he landed on his bad leg when he hit johnny..but danny boy can take the pain
