Okay, this dates me a bit. I was in the third or fourth grade. Anyway, it was a friend's birthday and a few of us went over to spend the night. His mother took us to see The Karate Kid- we all loved it. in fact, when we got back to his place, after his mom went to sleep upstairs, we broke out the pillow cushions had our own karate tournament that lasted until the early morning hours. Oh what fun... (I still have the Daniel and Miami figures somewhere back at my parents house.)

wow you are soooooo lucky to have seen the karate kid movie in the cinema!!!!!! I would love to seem them re-released on the big screen *_*

saw part two in the theater too.
opps, i had a typo in my post, accidentally hit "m" making it miami instead of miagi. that's what i get for being in a hurry...
anyway, who knows, hopefully it will get the same treatment as other films and get rereleased for it's 20th anniversary.

I wouldnt hold out too much hope for a 20th anniversary re-release, but a little bird told me that a special edition DVD might be on the way next year... :))
