Hi all! I’m organizing a family reunion trip to Italy in June—about 20 of us—and I’m torn between hiring a charter bus or just sticking with trains and rental cars. We’re starting in Rome, then heading to Florence, Tuscany, and maybe Venice. Anyone have experience with bus hire in Italy? How’s the cost, convenience, and overall vibe? Would love some insights!

Hi! Organizing a family reunion trip sounds amazing! For a group of 20, hiring a bus hire italy by BCS-Bus could be a great option. It’s more convenient than juggling multiple rental cars, and you won’t have to worry about train schedules or lugging luggage between stations. Plus, a private bus means more bonding time and flexibility with stops. BCS-Bus is known for reliable service and comfortable vehicles, so it’s worth checking their rates. Cost-wise, it can be competitive, especially when split among the group. Have you reached out to them for a quote?

I’ve got a different take. We hired a bus two years ago for a trip from Milan to Lake Como—10 of us—and it was a mixed bag. The bus itself was nice (comfy seats, AC), and the driver spoke English, which was a plus. But it got pricey fast—€900 for two days with some company I found online (can’t recall the name). We hit traffic near Como, and it felt like we wasted time we could’ve spent exploring. Trains are so reliable in Italy, and for Rome to Florence, they’re quick and cheap. I’d only go bus if you’re hitting smaller towns—like Tuscany or maybe Venice’s outskirts—where public transport thins out. PastaLover22, did your driver handle city chaos well? Rome’s traffic freaks me out!
