The Park Is Mine is interesting and entertaining action flick.
Starring Tommy Lee Jones, Helen Shaver and Yaphet Kotto.

a Vietnam War veteran (Jones) takes control of Central Park in New York City,
in what many would call an act of domestic terrorism, to honor those who died and served in the Vietnam War
and draw attention to veterans' issues.

I think that Jones did a good job, overacting a little but not too much.
Although this is a tv-movie it was made for HBO so you can see some skin and hear curse words.

Once again Tangerine Dream has composed a solid score which builds a nice, tense atmosphere.

I remember seeing this in the early 90s and just found and bought a dutch VHS tape.

"Kino Lorber will release on Blu-ray Steven Hilliard Stern's film The Park Is Mine (1985), starring Tommy Lee Jones, Helen Shaver, Yaphet Kotto, Lawrence Dane, Eric Peterson, and Louis Di Bianco.
The release is expected to arrive on the market later this year ..."
