Just watched this highly entertaining T&A flick, never seen the original Hollywood Boulevard (1976) but sure would like to.
This is a crazy story about a movie studio called Miracle Pictures. They are making these cheap T&A flicks. First we can see some cool sci-fi, then medieval adventure, after that they go to philippines and shoot a jungle war movie and finally we are in the middle of some post-apocalyptic tale. But something is wrong on the set, there´s a teddybear killer on the loose.
Starring Ginger-Lynn Allen, Kelly Monteith, Eddie Deezen, Ken Wright, Michelle Moffett etc. And lots of pretty girls...
This was produced by Roger Corman and you can see posters of his earlier movies on the walls, renamed. For example Forbidden World is "My Insect Lover" and Not of This Earth is "That Darn Traci"
LA street scenes, funny jungle war scene including hard rock band London, Joe Dante and Jim Wynorski cameos...
Check it out!

aTomiK, I can't remember if I've actually seen Hollywood Boulevard II, but I can tell you that Hollywood Boulevard is an absolute delight, a personal favorite. Made for next to no money with lots of typical New World Pictures stock footage, it's chock full of hilarious inside stuff for real fans of exploitation films: Paul Bartel, named for Boris Karloff's character in The Terror, as the head of Miracle Pictures--"If it's a good picture, it's a Miracle"; the great D-i-c-k Miller once again playing Walter Paisley; a bunch of AIP/New World directors in cameos; B-film idols Mary Woronov and Candace Rialson together; and one of the guys, I forget whom, does a sly Roger Corman impression. Alan Arkush and Joe Dante, who were editing trailers for Corman at New World at the time, get the highest marks for making a truly affectionate, funny film.

It is on DVD--or at least was. It's a DVD that I need to pick up myself because I have fond memories of seeing it late at night, many years ago--and then again years later--and enjoying it both times.
