"One hundred years after the Battle of Milk River, both sides agreed to reenact it... No one was supposed to get hurt...The cavalry was supposed to shoot blanks... The Indians weren't supposed to fight back."
This is a good thriller Directed by Franc Roddam and starring Billy Wirth and Kevin Dillon. Wirth and Dillon are modern day indians, easy going dudes who enjoy beer and women.
One day their friend is murdered and they take a revenge. Soon the guys are hunted by the rednecks, the law and finally the national guard.
I must warn you that this is not a happy movie but it´s a touching story. Wirth is very cool as college dropout who looks like a rock star with long hair. This movie is a must have for his fans.

Watched this movie in the theater back in '88. Though I don't remember much about it. Another one to track down.
