Hi Everyone. I've been looking for a movie (I've seen many year ago) for a long time, maybe you can help me.
Here's what I know about it: - I am quite sure is from the 70's. - The title in Portuguese is "A turma da Barracada", though I can't find anything related to it. - It was about a class of students who went on a school trip with their teachers. - I remember two charactares' names: Lesley, Eva. - I remember two moments/quotes/dialogues from the movie:
"Eva, this way" - said the teacher when Eva was going to the boys' dorm instead of hers.
"Lesley's going" - Said one boy to his mum after she says she wont allow him to go.To what she replies "Lesley, that black boy?" Quickly signing it afterwards.
"What's this?" asked the teacher when looking to a completely dirty paper authorizing him to go on the trip. "Hmm... this is Jam, chocolate..." answers the student as if it was absolutely normal.

That's the problem, I do not know the title in English and most of the times the titles are not translated literally into Portuguese. However, literally it means something like "The messy/misbehaved class" It's a class of students that misbehave constantly.
I remember they went to a kind of summer camp, though not in tents.
Also remembered another part. While on the bus, there was an arab student who demanded stopping from time to time to pray on his carpet.
Thanks for the help

As soon as you mentioned it, Logan, it smacked right into place. This is definately the one, and one I have on my bookcase right behind me.
ADDITIONAL: Having looked it up just now, the boy referred to above as 'Lesley' was called 'Wesley', and was played by Brinsley Forde, who would go on to greater fame as the founding emmber and lead singer of reggae band Aswad.
