I was looking through some movies that I love, Terminator, The Burbs, Top Gun, Twins, They Live, etc, and the're all reated really well. I love 80's movies and always have and I'm wondering what movies I may have missed. It'd be great if I could sort movies by the rating they have on this site.

The ratings on this site are just for guidance really. People often comment on how their favorites are all highly rated and the reason is simple.... I got tired of hate mail like: "Are you guys total dumb-asses or what? How can you rate "x" only 8 out of 10? Its an 11 any day" etc etc
Bottom line: No-one likes to see their favorites rated poorly. Solution? Rate 'em all highly with a secret code:
Anything up to a 9 is basically up to about 7.5... 9.1 is 8... 9.2 is 8.5 etc etc
I am hoping to include someday in the new version of the site a way of users voting their own ratings... Then I'll await the emails

There are two types of people when it comes to reviewing films: those that can only say "It's the best film ever ten out of ten! It was the worst film of all time zero out of ten!" And those that can watch a bad film and see good points and watch a good film and see bad points.
I don't believe that any film is a ten out of ten, simply because that implies perfection and nothing is perfect. At least, that's my opinion.
As for your clever rating system, it's skates a fine line between genius and madness!
