Future Film will release Quest for Fire on dvd here in Finland May 21st. I don´t remember if i´ve ever seen this one but i´m going to get it when released.
Directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud and starring Everett McGill, Ron Perlman, Nameer El-Kadi, and Rae Dawn Chong.

I've had this on DVD for a while, but have never got around to watching it. A bit more interested as I didn't know Ron Pearlman and Rae Dawn Chong were in it. I remember seeing parts of this as a kid...I wasn't really allowed to watch it due to the nudity...but of course, that didn't stop me from sneeking a peek!

Just watched this and it was a good movie. The cast did a fantastic job.
I didn´t know that this was so succesful, budget 12,5 mil - gross 67,4 mil.
Cool sabre-toothed tigers, mammoths and three different human species: Homo erectus (scary ape-men), Homo neanderthalensis (McGill, Perlman and their gang) and Homo sapiens (Dawn Chong and her tribe)
It´s a simple yet moving journey and definately worth everyone´s time.
