I watched it with my friend last night. It had some pretty scary parts in it. It was creepy, because the killer wore a witches mask , it was real looking, and she had long red hair...and it was really scary to me.
Cindymancini's friend recommended it to me, and we got it at Monster Mania.
There were a couple scenes in it that really creeped me out.
A friend of mine has met Samantha Egger , and she's in it...I never heard if her before he showed me pictures of him and her...she reminded me alot of Joan Collins.
The movie is about this group of women actresses who want the lead role in a new horror movie that this famous director is doing...they all meet at his house to compete for the part, and then they start getting killed off. It is from 1983.

It is worth watching. I know I saw the girl that is the comedian...in something else, I tried to look her up, but couldn't figure out what it was I saw her in.
John Vernon is in it, he just died a few years ago.

"Curtains" was on HBO quite often years ago. It was an above average spook fest. The ice pond scene was creepy cool.

Looks pretty creepy, going to have to check this out. I feel terrible for saying this, but in the first picture, is that Jocelyn Wildenstein?

I think it might be one of my ex-girlfriends from high school.

Thats what I love about this site , I say "the things that scared the crap outta me were the hag mask and the doll" and POOF - moments later someone has put up photos of NOT just the hag mask, NOT just the doll, but BOTH! AND Lesleh Donaldson screamin her pretty little head off! Mucho Gracias!

The doll scene on the road when the car door slams...creeped me out too.
I kept covering my head with a blanket...there were many times I jumped from being startled really bad...so it was definately a creeper.

Something about dolls that are TOO life-like freaks me out. The doll in CURTAINS was tops for that! After watching the movie I was not lovin' my daughters MY TWINN and AMERICAN GIRL dolls, lemme tell ya.

Just watched this one tonight. I thought it was OK. Had some decent moments - love the mask. I really didn't find it very scary though. The doll was kinda cool....I guess it was a bit dated for me. Still worth watching.

It was weird....the story itself I thought kind of was dragging...but there were times I jumped ...
***spoiler***
The thing that gave me the creeps, was when the girl was running through the props and there were real people hanging there dead, and then crawled in to the vent thing...that was creepy.
The scene where the doll grabs the girl by the hand and then the car runs them over...that was freaky too.
I got creeped out by those people at the mental ward at the beginning....that has always scared me to death...thinking of ever having a mental disease that you'd end up in a place like that. That is scary. ______________________________________
Does anyone remember the song that is playing on the cassette player when she's ice skating?
As soon as I heard it...I remembered I loved that song...I wanted to look it up...but I forgot what it was...Help???

The scene in the mental hospital was probably my favorite part in the whole movie. Those nut jobs cracked me up. Forgot to mention that. I did enjoy that skating scene too. I'll have to look that song up later.

I pretty much share these same views on this movie. I have seen it a few times, but never enjoyed it enough to ever purchase the film. Yeah, I agree it has it's moments..but overall nothing exremely memorable for me.
